Keith has been the Vice President of Technology for NBC Boston, Telemundo Boston, and New England Cable News (necn) since January of 2016. Working with the team in Boston, Keith led the technology and facility upgrade for the historic launch of the new NBC owned station on January 1st, 2017. Recently, Keith worked as the project leader for the construction of the new NBCU Boston Media Center in Needham, MA which successfully launched in January 2020. The NBCU Boston Media Center is the home to NBC10 Boston, NBC Sports Boston, Telemundo Boston, and NECN. Prior to joining the station in Boston, Keith was the Director of Technology & Engineering for NBC Connecticut. He was the project leader for the build and integration of NBC Connecticut’s new facility, which launched in July 2009. In Keith’s time with the owned stations, he has worked to support a number of big news stories, major weather events, and live broadcasts. Some of these include New Year’s Eve First Night Boston, Hurricane Irene, the fall snow storm of 2011, Hurricane Sandy and the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT, for which NBC Connecticut was awarded the George Foster Peabody Award for their coverage. Before that, Keith spent 10 years in New York with NBC’s TODAY Show, as a Production Manager and the last 6 years serving as the show’s Technical Manager. He was part of the leadership team that managed the project to upgrade TODAY to high definition, including the design, build and launch of the show’s control room, studio and facility.
