Pluto TV is a top free app on Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Android mobile, and also powers built-in streaming television services on Vizio and Samsung smart TVs. Additionally, Pluto TV is available in Europe and Latin America where it is growing rapidly.
Variety recently named Tom as a 2020 Digital Innovator and Fast Company cited Pluto TV as one of the Most Innovative Companies of 2020. Tom is a founding board member of Smule (the global leader in mobile music creation), a venture advisor to London-based Felix Capital and a fund advisor to San Francisco-based SignalFire.
Earlier in his career, Tom served as CEO of Threadless (a popular crowdsourced design and e-commerce company), SVP of Digital Strategy at EMI Music as well as co-founder of Cductive (an early digital music retailer that he merged with eMusic). Additionally, he served as a board member for Trunk Club (a clothing service for men that was acquired by JW Nordstrom) and Society6 (an artist community and e-commerce platform acquired by Demand Media).
Tom holds an AB from Dartmouth College and an MBA from INSEAD in France.
