As the Senior Channel Director for U.S. Hispanic, Eileen Piñeiro leads the creation and execution of multi-platform strategies for the company's flagship networks- Discovery en Español, Discovery Familia and most recently played and integral role in the launch of Hogar de HGTV- in the U.S. Hispanic market. In this role, she is responsible for managing and implementing the overall linear and digital network strategy including programming and content development; media planning and promotions; advertising and affiliate marketing partnerships; integrated communications plans; social media and digital platforms. As an award-winning marketing and communications strategist, some of Piñeiro’s notable accomplishments include enhancing brand relevancy for the networks, maintaining top-3 network rankings, innovative VOD, TVE, and OTT content strategies, cross-platform campaigns, and unique promotions and events. Prior to her current position, Piñeiro led the off-network marketing of networks in the U.S. Hispanic and Latin America Markets. She also managed innovative brand-focused campaigns for MTV and Nickelodeon in Latin America, including collaboration of the networks' launches in the region. Pineiro is based in Miami. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
