Enrique J. Perez – is founder and President of EP Media Group (EPMG), a media consulting and advising company. EPMG works with leading and emerging media, content, and entertainment companies on all areas of the industry with deep expertise in the Hispanic and the Multi-cultural market.

Prior to launching EP Media Group, Perez was Executive Vice President of Azteca America’s Station Group. In this role, which he held from 2014 to 2018, Perez was responsible for all facets of Azteca America’s fourteen managed stations. He oversaw all local and national spot sales, sales marketing, local content and programming, station promotions, as well as expansion into digital properties. Perez was instrumental in the creation of a new centralized Azteca America Station Group.  

Before joining Azteca America, Perez was Senior Vice President of Station Sales and Marketing at NBC Universal for the Telemundo Station Group. He was responsible for partnerships and revenue strategy at all Fourteen Telemundo owned and operated stations and Eight Telemundo national sales offices throughout the country, including Puerto Rico and Mexico. In this role, Perez led the 2004, 2008, and 2012 Summer Olympic sales for the stations. He created strategic partnerships with Billboard Magazine, The National Football League, Soccer United Marketing and the Miss Universe Organization among many.

Previously with NBCU / Telemundo, Perez was Vice President and General Manager at Telemundo 47/ WNJU in New York where he oversaw all facets of the station, including news, advertising, sales, promotions and community affairs.

Prior to joining NBCU / Telemundo, Perez served as Senior Vice President of Sales for the Radio Unica Network. He was responsible for all network sales operations, network and national spot account executives and all sales personnel at its offices in New York, Miami, Chicago, Dallas, San Antonio, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Orange County, CA.

Before his move to Radio Unica Network, Perez was MTV Latin America’s Vice President and General Manager, managing all channel functions, including ad sales, affiliate sales, marketing and promotions, programming and production. He supervised MTV Networks Latin America offices in Miami in addition to its regional offices in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Mexico City.

Perez’s extensive career spans over two decades and includes posts as Vice President and General Manager at WVEA Channel 61 and WVEN Channel 63, both Univision affiliates in Tampa and Orlando, Florida. For over 10 years, he managed Telemundo owned and operated stations in Chicago, IL, San Francisco, CA, and Houston, TX.

Perez recently completed the IAB’s Digital Media Sales certification course. He was chosen to attend numerous leadership and management courses at GE’s famed Crotonville Leadership Institute. In 1990, Perez was chosen by the National Association of Broadcasters to attend the Executives Broadcast Leadership Seminar at Northwestern University in Illinois.

Born to Cuban parents in Athens, OH, Perez holds a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast management from Northern Arizona University. He resides in New York City.
