Louis Gump joined Cox Media, the advertising sales organization within Cox Communications, in June of 2019 as Senior Vice President. Most recently he was the CEO of NewsON, a digital media company co-founded by the ABC Owned Television Station Group, Hearst Television, Media General, Raycom Media and Cox Media Group that gives consumers access to a nationwide lineup of live and on-demand local newscasts. Accomplished in leading digital media services, Louis spent 12 years combined at The Weather Channel and CNN and was responsible for both of their mobile businesses. He served for more than a decade on the board of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) and has been recognized with the MMA’s Lifetime Achievement Award. He has also served in multiple capacities in industry organizations including the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and the Online Publishers Association (OPA). As Cox Media’s leader, Louis drives growth for the organization through innovative and client-focused strategies that build upon Cox Media’s expanding portfolio of traditional TV and premium digital advertising solutions.
